Walk at your own pace or just enjoy a gathering with family and friends.

The walk is only a small portion of the day, and participation is optional. Whether you choose to explore the paved paths or simply relax with others who “get it,” you’ll be surrounded by support.

We’re also bringing in powerful speakers, great snacks, and dedicated sponsors who help make this event special. Come be part of it — the day won’t be the same without you.

This event is for everyone.

Registration is now open for the 7th Annual Vaccine Injury Awareness Walk — and we’d love to see you there. You can register at the door, but early registration makes a huge difference for our Events team as they plan for the day.

Adult registration remains $15 and includes a free t-shirt if you register by Friday, October 16. As always, kids and teens (up to age 18) are free to attend.

We have purposefully kept registration costs low year-over-year to keep this essential event accessible for all families.

The following are our 2025 Event Speakers

Michigan State Rep. Brad Paquette

State Rep. Brad Paquette was first elected to serve in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2018. He represents the people of the new 37th House District, which encompasses several township in Berrien County.

Representative Paquette serves on the House Education and Workforce Committee and the House Oversight Committee. He also serves on the House Oversight Child Welfare System Subcommittee and the House Oversight Public Health and Food Security Subcommittee.

We are grateful to Rep. Paquette for his recognition of the vaccine injured and for his support of vaccine choice.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D.

Dr. David Brownstein, M.D., is a board-certified family physician who utilizes the best of conventional and alternative therapies. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Brownstein is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves on the board for the International College of Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Brownstein is the Medical Director for the Center for Holistic Medicine in West Bloomfield, Michigan and a passionate educator and advocate of natural therapies. He has lectured internationally about the success of natural therapies and has authored sixteen books.

Patti Lowhorn

Patti Lowhorn is a mother to three, Mimi to two, and co-founder of True North Connect along with her husband, Kelly. As the mother of a vaccine-injured child, she is passionate about advocacy and informed choice.

A veteran educator with more than 25 years of experience, Patti now focuses on supporting non-speakers and their families through Spelling to Communicate (S2C).

She is honored to serve the 6th Annual Vaccine Injury Awareness Walk as both a sponsor and a speaker.

Brian and Karen Anklam

Brian and Karen Anklam are devoted parents from Peck, Michigan, advocating for their daughter Norah, who passed away suddenly at 13 months in 2016 following a routine vaccination.

In Norah's memory, Brian and Karen work toward systemic reform of the current vaccine injury system, aiming to create lasting changes that bring clarity, choice, and fairness. By speaking out, they raise awareness of issues like VAERS reporting gaps and support informed consent.

Jacob the Brave

Jacob, age 10, is a hardworking student and young entrepreneur who loves to read, camp, play board games, and make memories with his family and friends. His faith in Jesus gives him strength, as he bravely deals with an injury from his 12-month vaccines.

Jacob created Scribbles and Giggles, where his goal is to bring happiness to people’s homes through his creations.

His endeavor was recently honored as “Best Overall Business of 2025” at the Kid Entrepreneurship Event in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
