The walk is only a small portion of the day, and participation is optional. Whether you choose to explore the paved paths or simply relax with others who “get it,” you’ll be surrounded by support.

We’re also bringing in powerful speakers, great snacks, and dedicated sponsors who help make this event special. Come be part of it — the day won’t be the same without you.

This event is for everyone.

Registration is now open for the 7th Annual Vaccine Injury Awareness Walk — and we’d love to see you there. You can register at the door, but early registration makes a huge difference for our Events team as they plan for the day.

Adult registration remains $15 and includes a free t-shirt if you register by Friday, October 16. As always, kids and teens (up to age 18) are free to attend.

We have purposefully kept registration costs low year-over-year to keep this essential event accessible for all families.

Michigan State Rep. Gina Johnsen

Gina Johnsen has been a community leader, a business woman, and a leader in the faith movements in Michigan for many years. She currently serves the 78th house district as a State Representative. This includes the 4 counties of Eaton, Barry, Ionia and Kent.

As a state representative, she serves on the following committees: Judiciary, Joint Commission on Administrative Rules, Natural Resources and Tourism, and Families and Veterans. Gina is currently running for state senate, district 33, for the 2026 election.

She also leads the Michigan Pray organization based in Lansing across from the Capitol, connecting people of faith in Michigan with our state government.

Dr. Christina Parks

Dr. Christina Parks graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire in 1992 with a double major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She went on to earn her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan in 1999. She did her graduate research in the field of cytokine signaling. Cytokines are the chemicals that the immune system uses to communicate. Thus, Dr. Parks brings a wealth of knowledge about how vaccines affect the immune system.

Dr. Parks has also been outspoken in warning that there can be no medical freedom when doctors and scientists who have dared to tell the truth are silenced and punished. Dr. Parks garnered significant attention for her testimony on Michigan House Bill 4471 which seeks to ban discrimination based on vaccine status. In her testimony, she challenged the assumption that DTaP, Flu, and COVID vaccines prevent transmission.

Teresa Cichewicz

Teresa is currently serving as Director Emerita of The Betrayal Project USA and a longtime advocate and supporter of MVC based in West Michigan. After losing her father, Robert Michanowicz, and close 39 yr old friend Jessica Hallgren following failures during hospitalizations in 2021, Teresa became actively involved in helping families share their stories and raising awareness about their experiences with hospital protocols.

Drawing on 18 years of professional leadership she has helped organize advocacy efforts, public events, media outreach, and grassroots initiatives across Michigan and nationally. Most recently, Teresa has helped coordinate BPUSA’s trip to Washington, D.C. bringing families and advocates around the nation together around Senator Ron Johnson’s September 28 roundtable on COVID-19 hospital protocols. Her focus now is working with lawmakers around the state and nation to help make hospital reforms and seek accountability for the 1.6 M deaths of those that are lost due to the hospital protocols.

Katie Cunha, Integrative Homeopathy

Katie Cunha received her certification from Caduceus Institute of Classical Homeopathy (2017) in Acute Homeotherapeutics, CFH (Certificate in Foundational Homeopathy) in 2018 and full CPH (Certificate in Professional Homeopathy) in 2020.

She would like to share:

Joel Troyer

Joel is a single father of four, based in Middlebury, Indiana, where he works in sales for a sport court coatings and surfacing business. He also works as a Communication Regulation Partner for non or minimally speaking individuals with autism; teaching them autonomous communication through spelling. He enjoys the gym, time spent with his kids and sharing his faith with others as well as relaxing on the lake. As the father of a 13-year-old son with profound non-speaking autism and three younger children, Joel speaks from lived experience about raising a family that includes a child with significant support and medical needs, bringing a grounded, faith-driven perspective to both parenting and everyday life.

Kristen Meghan Kelly, MS-OSH

Kristen Meghan is an internationally recognized speaker and educator on vaccine safety, health freedom, medical autonomy, and informed consent. She has appeared at conferences, in documentaries, and across national and international media, and has provided testimony and technical expertise on occupational and public health policies.

Kristen Meghan also volunteers with We The Patriots USA, supporting its health-freedom advocacy and legal efforts. Each year, she helps host the organization's 24-hour Vaccine Safety Awareness Marathon, raising awareness and funds to support its ongoing work protecting medical freedom and informed consent.

Rachel Atwood

Rachel is a passionate advocate for health freedom through special needs advocacy, education, and political work. Rachel is in leadership within the Michigan Republican Party, Michigan for Vaccine Choice, and volunteers with REACT along with other organizations.

Recently, she received a Volunteer of the Year award from the Michigan Republican Party and is currently working to support school board candidates that value medical freedom and parental rights. Her experience working in the House of Representatives, along with media public speaking engagements, has helped increase awareness of medical freedom issues.
