Kari's son was progressing ahead of schedule, before experiencing dyspraxia and ADHD

Kari recalls that her son, Tristan, was exceeding his milestones up until routine vaccinations around the age of 15 months. From that point on, Tristan began struggled with words that he used to say with no problem. Kari also saw a decline in Tristan's coordination despite being an early crawler and early walker. The regression was severe enough that by 22 months, Tristan was in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. He later received a dyspraxia diagnosis and by age 4 was diagnosed with Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Kari shared her son's story on the Children's Health Defense (CHD) VAX-unVAX Bus in collaboration with the Michigan chapter of CHD and Michigan for Vaccine Choice (MVC).
