Even after treating multiple children who had regressed into autism following their pediatric well visits, Maija did not want to believe it could happen to her own children. Maija believed the experts who said that vaccine injury was one in a million. She believed them when they told her that vaccines were safe, effective, and prevented children from contracting diseases.
This is Maija's personal journey with childhood vaccination and discoveries she found in the most unbearable way. She continues to be an advocate for her own children as well as for millions of children who she deeply believes are still in harm's way.
